Dricus ‘Stillknocks’ du Plessis holds on to UFC title
This is the second fight between the two rivals since Du Plessis took the UFC middle weight title from Sean Strickland in January 2024.
In a unanimous decision by the judges, Dricus du Plessis won his fight against Sean Strickland on points. Although the victory was based on judges’ decision, Du Plessis did manage to draw blood in the fourth round.

This is the second fight between the two rivals since Du Plessis took the UFC middleweight title from Strickland in January 2024.
In the second fight, held in Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, Australia, Du Plessis managed to land a punch in Strickland’s face in the fourth round, causing blood to stream from a cut on the American’s nose.

Judges scored 50-45, 50-45 and 49-46 in favour of Du Plessis.
