Gauteng Covid-19 active cases at 27 703 as total confirmed cases hit 210 169
Some 521 new cases have been recorded.

Gauteng’s overall Covid-19 positive cases climbed to 210 169 with 182 466 recoveries and 3 592 deaths thus far, according to figures published by the Department of Health.
This saw the province to have about 27 703 active cases.
The Gauteng province recorded 521 new cases on Sunday.
The Department of Health said out of 125 976 contacts traced (individuals who were in contact with a person who tested positive for Covid-19), 103 711 people have completed the 10 days monitoring period, with no symptoms reported and were de-isolated.
The number of hospitalised people due to Covid-19 in the province stood at 2 844.

– Johannesburg: 84 182 cases and 77 861 recoveries
– Ekurhuleni: 47 275 cases and 45 293 recoveries
– Tshwane: 45 412 cases and 37 801 recoveries
– Sedibeng: 14 242 cases and 10 443 recoveries
– West Rand: 13 452 cases and 11 068 recoveries
