Police confirmed on yesterday that the suspects, a man and a woman, arrived on separate flights from Brazil before being intercepted by authorities.

Several cocaine busts in recent times

In October last year SARS officials uncovered 47 bricks of cocaine with an estimated street value of R25m at OR Tambo airport.

The drugs were packed in a luggage bag, which arrived from Sao Paulo in Brazil and was destined for Kinshasa in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
