RWC TikTok challenge: South Coast school joins war cry movement
Actions speak louder than words, as is evident in the support shown to our national rugby team as part of Caxton Local Media’s TikTok challenge.
Port Shepstone-based Suid-Natal High School has given the Springboks a boost as the Rugby World Cup kicks off today in France, by joining Caxton Local Media’s 2023 Rugby World Cup TikTok war cry challenge.
The school visibly demonstrated its gees and support of our men in green and gold through its inspiring war cry.
@southcoastherald Suid-Natal High School from Port Shepstone and Caxton Local Media invite South African schools to join them in showing their support of the Springboks in the lead-up to the 2023 Rugby World Cup. The entire school gathered on the sports ground to visibly demonstrate its support of our men in green and gold by sharing a specially performed RWC war cry. 📢 Suid-Natal High now challenges other schools to follow suit. #worldcuprugby #strongertogether #tiktokchallenge #fortinihildifficilius #RWC2023 #springboksrugby #springboks #bokke #suidnatal #suidnatalhighschool
While Jeppe High School for Boys was the first school to take on the challenge, other schools – including the Lowveld’s Laerskool Bergland, Laerskool Nelspruit and St Teresa’s School in Rosebank – have also been bitten by rugby fever.
Up for the challenge?
It’s time to be loud and proud and show other schools what you are made of, says Caxton Local Media’s group editor Irma Green.
All that schools need to do is respond to Suid-Natal’s video with a war cry of their own, and publish it on Tiktok and their other social media platforms.
Remember to include the hashtags #StrongerTogether, #Caxton4Bokke, and your school’s hashtags.
