Shots fired, motorist robbed while driving
A woman was robbed of her valuables while driving on the corner of Anerley Road and 3rd Avenue in Killarney, Johannesburg today.
It is alleged the woman was driving when three armed robbers in a BLACK VW Golf GTI stopped in front of her car, got out and approached her, Rosebank Killarney Gazette reported.
The suspects allegedly fired shots at the victim’s car, but the victim was not injured. The suspects made off with a statue that had just been bought, an undisclosed amount of CASH, a handbag and jewellery she had been wearing.
No arrests have been made. Investigations are ongoing.
In a separate incident, video footage emerged showing an apparent armed robbery at the Engen Service Station on the R21 north, just outside Kempton Park, on Gauteng’s East Rand.
The incident, which was captured by CCTV cameras, tookPLACE just after 11am in January and shows a motorist being robbed while parked at one of the fuel pumps at the station in Olifantsfontein, Kempton Express reported.
In the video, two passengers of a Volkswagen are seen getting out and walking towards another Volkswagen at the petrol pumpNEXT to them.

Three petrol attendants are seen looking on as the incident unfolds.
The alleged robbers are then seen driving off.
