Sister accused of stabbing brother to death in Gauteng

Speculation indicates the death may have come about after an argument over a house.

Boipatong Police recently detained a female suspect implicated in the murder of her brother, who was found stabbed four times,  Sedibeng Ster reports.

It is said that the deceased’s death may have come about after an argument over a house.

According to police spokesperson Sergeant Thembeka Koago, the suspect made a call to the Boipatong Police Station to report the incident. Police responded to the scene and upon arrival, found a male lying on the ground with stab wounds.

“There were four stab wounds. Police quickly called emergency personnel to assist and they declared the man dead,” said Koago.

A case of murder was opened and is being investigated. Koago said Police identified the deceased as Muhlupheko Moses Xelani.

Police questioned the sister and arrested her as a murder suspect. She appeared at the Vanderbijlpark Magistrates Court on Monday.
