Two arrested, one shot and killed in Polokwane hours after farm attack
The attack took place on a farm near Mogwadi (Dendron) this morning.
Two men were arrested and one shot and killed during a joint police operation outside the city on Wednesday morning.
It is believed the men were responsible for an attack on a farm in the Bylsteel area near Mogwadi (Dendron) this morning. One victim, a man was shot and the other victim, a woman was badly assaulted. Both have since been hospitalised.
According to reports the attackers fled in a stolen vehicle and were intercepted on the R101 near Ivy Park at around 06:00. Two of the men were arrested and a third, who fled on foot was shot and killed during a shoot out with the police.
The stolen vehicle and several items were recovered on the scene.
Police are still on the scene.
