The mother of Jayden-Lee Meek (11), Tiffany Nicole (31), will again appear in the Roodepoort Magistrate’s Court on Friday for her bail application.

According to the Roodepoort Record, the magistrate earlier today ruled she will remain in custody until she and her legal representatives are ready to apply for bail.

An earlier report by the newspaper stated she faces a murder charge in connection with the death of her son.

She was arrested on Friday following investigations by Florida detectives, assisted by the Provincial Investigative Unit and Tracking Team.

The Roodepoort Record was at the courthouse where community members gathered with placards, demanding she be denied bail.
