ANC members chant ‘our Zuma’
ANC members from the so-called 'premier league' hoisted placards bearing the names of their provinces.
Despite appeals by ANC secretary-general Gwede Mantashe for delegates attending the party’s policy conference not to sing songs that could further divide the party, members from provinces known to be behind President Jacob Zuma chanted: “Our Zuma! Our Zuma!”

Members from the so-called premier league provinces – Free State, Mpumalanga and North West – hoisted placards bearing the names of their provinces while at the same time members from the Eastern Cape chanted: “We want change! We want change!”
President Zuma is expected to deliver the opening address at the conference.
Party stalwarts such as Winnie Madikizela-Mandela and Andrew Mlangeni also arrived just after 11am on Friday.
