Fire breaks out in Pretoria Moot factory

A fire broke out in a factory in the Moot on Wednesday morning, reports Pretoria Moot Rekord.

Villieria police spokesperson Captain Coba Brits said the fire broke out at Woodcentre on the corner of Lanham and Meeu streets around 5am.

Brits said no injuries were reported at the time of going to press.

“We are waiting for the fire report before a criminal procedure will be underway,” she said.

She said the fire department and other emergency services were on the scene.

Motorists were advised to avoid the area.

The Tshwane emergency services could not be reached for comment at the time of going to press.
