Driver ejected from car, dies in PTA crash

The deceased was assumed to be about 35 years old.


A man was ejected and killed when his vehicle hit a palisade fence in the early hours of Monday morning on Graham Road, in Boschkop, Pretoria, Centurion Rekord reports.

Reports indicated one vehicle was involved in the fatal crash, said Netcare 911 emergency care spokesperson Tebogo Magoro.

“Netcare 911 paramedics were first to arrive at the scene and attended to the male driver. Tragically, he had sustained severe injuries and died at the scene.

“The driver was ejected from the vehicle,” Magoro said.

Paramedics were said to have arrived at the “very serious crash” scene at about 4.05am this morning.

The deceased was assumed to be about 35.

“Documentation pertaining to his death was completed by Netcare 911 and handed over to authorities at the scene,” Magoro said.

Police were also said to have been investigating the accident.
