‘Help us find my brother’s attacker’
The plea comes after his brother was left with a broken jaw after being attacked by an unknown assailant at a bar in KwaZulu-Natal.

Another brutal attack on a teen has come to light, Berea Mail reports.
Connor Quinn took to Facebook after his 18-year-old brother, Liam, was severely beaten by an unknown assailant at around midnight on Saturday inside Sound Factory, a bar in Durban. A 16-year-old boy, Michael Blaine, was also brutally beaten in an incident on Saturday night in Ballito.

According to Quinn, his brother was attending the final night of the #RageFestivalSouth Africa when he was brutally attacked from behind and left lying unconscious on the floor as his attacked fled.

Connor posted an appeal on Facebook asking for people to come forward and help identify his brother’s assailant. He alleges that the assailant continued to punch and jumped on his brother while he was unconscious on the floor.
He said Liam’s jaw had been broken through the middle and suffered a fracture on the right side which resulted in him having to undergo surgery to reconstruct his entire jaw at “sky-rocketing medical costs” and leaving Liam in excruciating pain.

Liam and his girlfriend were due to go to Portugal on holiday later this month but the incident has meant that the trip has had to be cancelled as Liam recovers.
“For the next 4/6 weeks Liam won’t be able to eat anything but meal replacement shakes and soup through a syringe. We have spoken to #RageFestivalSouthAfrica and they have been alerted about the issue and are doing everything in their power to help find Liam’s attacker. This severity of assault is completely unacceptable and will be dealt with legally,” he added.
Despite not being able to identify the attacker as he ran away, Connor said some details of the man had come to light.
“He is a tall white male, with a skinny figure, has brown hair and was wearing a maroon shirt with black pants. His accomplice, who ran away with him, is also a tall, skinny white male and was wearing a red and black bucket hat. He has blond hair and was wearing a red shirt with black sweatpants.”

“The location of the attack took place inside Sound Factory next to the Red Square Tent and Medical Tent with the Jagermeister shots bar on the left hand side. All information given will remain confidential.
