Take note of speed camera locations in Boksburg
A letter dated February 22 gives the EMPD authorisation for the deployment of mobile and fixed cameras for traffic law enforcement in Boksburg.
The authorisation for the deployment of mobile speed cameras in Boksburg has been renewed.
Authorities have revealed where they will operate those mobile and fixed speed cameras in the city, Boksburg Advertiser reports.
Below are the locations where Ekurhuleni Metro Police Department (EMPD) officers, armed with speed cameras, will be conducting speed checks to catch speedsters effective from May 1 until April 30, 2019.

Atlas Road
Northbound; between Rolls Royce Street and Elizabeth Road: speed limit 70km/h (above 80km/h is authorised for prosecution)
Northbound; between Top and North Rand roads: speed limit 70km/h (above 80km/h is authorised for prosecution)
Northbound; between Commissioner Street and Top Road: speed limit 70km/h (above 80km/h is authorised for prosecution)
Barry Marais Road
Both directions, between the R554 Bridge and Boksburg prison entrance: speed limit 60km/h (above 70km/h is authorised for prosecution)
Both directions; between the R103 and Rondebult Road: speed limit 60km/h (above 70km/h is authorised for prosecution)
