Rain has passed, says EFF as Church Square fills up

By Citizen Reporter

The inclement weather appears not to have deterred opposition parties, particularly the EFF, who are gathering in Pretoria for an anti-Jacob Zuma march.

The SA Weather Service forecast cloudy and wet weather conditions for the better part of Wednesday.

The march against Zuma in Pretoria was expected to start at midday and proceed to the Union Buildings while Zuma’s 75th birthday celebrations in Kliptown, Soweto, are scheduled to kick off at 3pm.

On Wednesday morning, Malema tweeted that, rain or not, there was no turning back.

The party also shared a video of how Church Square is already filling up in preparation for the march.
