WATCH: Pickpocket’s ‘hard work’ all gone to waste
Though he gets his reward in the end, it is not in the way he had hoped for.

A pickpocket was met with disappointment after stealing a wallet from an old woman’s handbag after realising it contained only a few coins.
In a video posted on Namibian news website Informanté, a man can be seen pretending to be looking for something at a store when in fact, he was waiting for the perfect moment to steal from the old woman.
After getting his moment, he takes the wallet, walks a few steps away from her while searching for money. He was disappointed when he found there was not as much money as he had expected, so he returned the wallet and told the woman he picked it up from the floor.
The woman then gives the ‘Good Samaritan’ the few coins that were in the wallet.
