Suspect on the run after stabbing neighbour to death for R25

When the suspect was told the person owing him money was not there, he got furious.


A man aged between 23 and 25 was stabbed to death by his neighbour in the early hours of Sunday morning at Msholozi Section A in Mpumalanga, Mpumalanga News reports.

According to a member of the community policing forum, the suspect went to the victim’s rented house to look for the victim’s roommate who owes him R25.

When he was told that the roommate was not in, he got angry and started fighting with the victim. He ended up stabbing him with a sharp object.

“We are shocked that the suspect ended up taking another person’s life for a mere R25. We will work with the police to ensure that he is arrested and pay for this,” says Wozawoza Motsa, the CPF member.
