A 19-year-old man has been arrested and charged with the murder of his father in Cason, Boksburg, on the East Rand.
“The 51-year-old father was allegedly assaulted by his son inside their home in Cason Road on Sunday following an argument,” Boksburg police said.
Police responded to the block of flats where the incident occurred at about 5pm, and the son was arrested, Boksburg Advertiser reported.
The father was declared dead on the scene.
An autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death.
