Three Mpumalanga municipal employees suspended for allegedly stealing millions of rands

It is alleged a discrepancy was noted when the books were being audited.


Three Govan Mbeki municipal employees have been suspended for allegedly stealing millions of rands from the municipality, Ridge Times reports.

A criminal case was opened at the Bethal Police Station after management noted a discrepancy when they balanced the books.

Mr Bheki Kubheka, spokesman, confirmed the employees were suspended.
