Well-known ballroom instructor still unconscious after farm attack

He was bludgeoned over the head with an unknown object.


Well-known ballroom instructor Gavin Wingrave, who was attacked on his farm in by three suspects on Monday evening, has not yet regained consciousness.

His wife, Nadine, told Lowvelder that he was attacked outside their home on a farm near Rocky Drift by three unknown men when he arrived home yesterday, after teaching a dance class in Mbombela, Mpumalanga.

He was bludgeoned over the head with an unknown object.

The suspects fled with his wallet and car keys.

Wingrave was released from jail last month after charges against him for killing a man in self-defence were dropped.
