Sheffield body believed to be drowned teen
Body washed onto the rocks this morning.
The body of the young black male found on the rocks at Sheffield Beach this morning matches the description of the teenager who drowned on Tuesday, however his identity is yet to be confirmed.
According to IPSS Security’s Frank Labidi one of their clients, a resident of Llewellyn Road, spotted the body from his flat at 9.15am this morning and called them to investigate.
On Tuesday morning an 18-year-old boy from Tongaat drowned while bathing at Surfers Lane, a non-swimming beach in Ballito.
His body was not found.
