Red Frogs making friends and baking pancakes

The Rage action is heating up and the Red Frogs team have been very busy, with volunteers hanging out with the Matrics and providing them with water and pancakes.

Their call centre have been taking pancake bookings by the minute and so far the Red Frogs have made around 12 000 pancakes.

With the hot days and pool parties, the volunteers make sure they have water on tap every night to keep the Matrics hydrated.

Thanks to McCarthy Toyota Ballito and McCarthy Toyota Durban North, leaders have been able to respond quickly to situations in Ballito and Umhlanga.

Teams are stocking up on more pancake mix and red frog sweets, and their walking shoes are on.

Here are some tips from the Red Frogs team for the rest of the Rage experience:

– Drink lots and lots of water.
– Look out for each other. Stick together and you will have an awesome Matric Rage.
– If you need to get home ask a Red Frogs team to walk home with you.
– Be careful who you take a drink from, and don’t leave your drink unattended.
– Know your boundaries and stick to them. Matric Rage is not the time to start trying new things that you might regret.
