Accident closes N2 North at Ballito
Alternative routes are strongly advised.
Both lanes of the N2 North at Ballito have been closed after an accident involving three cars, one with a trailer, at the Ballito bridge.
“Traffic is severely backed up and cars are being diverted past the accident scene in the emergency lane,” said IPSS Medical Rescue’s paramedic Paul Herbst.
Please avoid the area and use alternative routes, like the R102 or M4.
No serious injuries have been reported so far but the Courier will update you as soon as more information becomes available.
