N2 Ballito reopened, truck driver fled
A three car pile-up had closed the North bound lanes earlier this afternoon.
The N2 under the Ballito bridge has been cleared after a three car pile up this afternoon.
A Toyota bakkie, VW Polo and a Fortuner collided after a truck reportedly pulled out into the road from the emergency lane.
Witnesses said they guessed that the truck driver had not checked his blind spot.
The truck was not at the scene of the accident when the Courier arrived, and the drivers of the affected vehicles accused the truck driver of running away.
No one was seriously injured.
