One dead and two injured in Umvoti toll accident
Two men are in a critical condition at Stanger Hospital.
One man died and two others were injured when a small truck drove into the back of a larger truck on the N2 just before the Umvoti Toll around 7pm on Saturday night.
KwaDukuza Fire Department extricated the three men from the vehicle, but unfortunately one of the men died on the scene.
IPSS Medical Rescue’s spokesperson Samantha Meyrick said paramedics treated the two surviving men and transported them to Stanger Hospital.
They are both in a critical condition.
