Siza Water makes a splash as primary sponsor for KwaDukuza Winter Fair
Child Welfare board president Sandeep Oudhram thanked Siza Water for its support.
Siza Water will again be the primary sponsor of the much anticipated KwaDukuza Winter Fair, scheduled for the end of June.
This year’s fair will be hosted at the Stanger High School grounds from June 26 to 30.
Siza Water sponsored last year’s fair with a contribution of R100 000, and have increased their sponsorship to R108 000.
Speaking at the cheque handover at Siza Water’s Ballito offices recently, company managing director Shyam Misra expressed pride in being part of one of KwaDukuza’s biggest annual events.
The fair has been held for the past 45 years and is a big part of KwaDukuza Child Welfare’s fundraising calender.

“KwaDukuza Child Welfare has a very good track record of providing excellent service to KwaDukuza residents. So, having a relationship with them and helping to make the fair a success is something we take pride in,” said Misra.
Child Welfare board president Sandeep Oudhram thanked Siza Water for its support and expressed the hope that this would be the beginning of a long-term relationship.
He noted that the set-up cost for last year’s fair was R1.1-million and they managed to raise R1.35-million.
“This year, we hope to raise even more because the funds generated through such events go a long way in meeting the needs of our welfare organisation,” said Oudhram.
