Manor Cricket Club looking the part

Looking spiffy in their brand new kit

Manor Cricket Club received bright new cricket kit from ThermoWise in Ballito last week.

Arnold Retief, general manager of ThermoWise, said that they are delighted to be able give back to the community through sponsorships.

“Our financial manager, Sitha Rajkoomar is a parent of two of their cricketers,” said Retief.

Manor Cricket Club’s vice president, Desigan Pillay thanked ThermoWise for their generous sponsorship.

“We are keen to get more people from Ballito involved in the club,” said Pillay.

“We play most of our matches at Stanger cricket ground – which is looking beautiful at the moment – but we are also looking at the possibility of playing some matches at school grounds in Ballito in the future.”

“Manor Cricket Club is always looking for more talent in the local area, so if you want to get involved – give us a call, we have various teams: from school going age all the way to the seniors.”

The club, which is 15 years old this year, is known for having produced two KZN Dolphins players in Saidee Mhlongo and Tyron Pillay.

If you are interested in getting involved with Manor Cricket Club, call Desigan Pillay at 073 854 5786.
