A CUSTOMER ordering take-away at a Northway fast-food outlet fell victim to a robbery inside the store.
According to Greenwood Park SAPS spokesman, Lt Elvis Naidoo, the man and his wife were robbed of R8 000 by four armed men inside the store, while waiting for their order.
“The robbers pointed a firearm at the customer and his wife, demanding cash from them,” Lt Naidoo said.
Lt Naidoo said they then ordered the wife to hand them her handbag. Nothing was stolen from the store and no-one was injured.
“We are working around the clock to find the men who robbed the customer and to arrest them,” Lt Naidoo said.
