Motorcyclist injured in M4 crash
The 23-year-old man had been flung from his motorcycle.

A MOTORCYCLIST was seriously injured during an accident on the M4 near Sibaya yesterday afternoon.
When paramedics arrived at the scene they found the 23-year-old man lying in the bushes. He had been flung off of his motorcycle when it collided with another vehicle.
“The rider sustained severe injuries and was stabilised on scene by advanced life support paramedics before being transported to hospital. The occupants of the motor vehicle were unharmed in the collision,” said Neil Powell of Crisis Medical.
Eyewitness reports have alleged that the accident occurred when the motorcyclist attempted to overtake the vehicle, added Powell. The vehicle had suddenly attempted to turn right, onto a gravelled area alongside the freeway, causing the motorbike to collide with the vehicle, he said.
