Robbers strike hours apart in Sunningdale

The domestic worker and gardener were tied up in the robbery.

JUST hours after a Sunningdale couple were robbed by armed men, another armed robbery has taken place, this time on Kiaat Close. According to Craig Adendorff, of Sun Cell Watch, three men armed with handguns approached the domestic worker and gardener.

“They were tied up and locked in one of the bedrooms. The suspects stole jewellery and a TV.  Unfortunately, no one saw the getaway vehicle,” he said.

The incident comes hours after a similar incident earlier this morning on Blossom Close.

In this morning’s incident the attackers tied the couple up using cable ties and made them sit on the ground. Once the homeowners were bound they ransacked the house stealing various items including clothes, cell phones and a PlayStation.
