Tyres burn as protest action flares on N2
Traffic has been badly affected as protesters have been burning tyres since this afternoon.
COMMUTERS have been warned to avoid the N2 (northbound) before the Edwin Swales interchange due to heavy protest action. Traffic has been badly affected as protesters have placed burning tyres across the road.

According to i-Traffic KZN, the N2 going north has been closed. There is said to be police presence at the scene.
The motivation behind the protest action is unclear at this stage.
