WATCH: La Lucia Junior Primary twins declare a blazing future

Twins start school on a high note.

THOUSANDS of children around the country head back to school today. Our reporter, Nomfundo Mlaba caught up with twins, Emily and Jude Carr who began their 12-year school cycle at La Lucia Junior Primary School this morning. The duo wasted no time in detailing what they wanted to be when they grow up.

Emily enthusiastically told us that she would one day like to be ‘a person who trains people to ride horses’ while her brother Jude is pretty sure that he will be a surfer one day.

The twins are two of approximately 100 000 new learners who joined the schooling system in 2019.
