The brand is renowned for manufacturing roof trusses in its plant on site at Wardkiss Sydney Road, Durban. This Mitek engineered truss plant has certified roof designers who can quote, manufacture and installs roof trusses to client requirements and issue A19 approval certificates. Wardkiss also manufactures supplies and installs purpose made timber joinery (doors, windows and frames).

Unique to the new look Glenashley store is the Wardkiss paint division. This new sector offers a sit-down area for customers where they can receive advice and guidance on specific brands and product ranges by expert interior designers and decorators.

The store also has a zesty team which consists of young and old team players who are skilled to offer best recommendations and advice on modern trends and on hardware equipment. Wardkiss will assist you in identifying a suitable location for your franchise, with a professional team that will research and draw up a feasible plan for you. The project team will also assist in the store layout,  design and merchandising.

Explaining the support structure further for new franchise outlets, Jeremia says, “The head office will supply the franchise store with experienced employees for two to three months to assist and ensure that the store is run correctly.  In that time the franchisee’s  staff members will learn how  to interact with customers as well as how to work with the products. This internal teaching is more constructive than being  trained at an external conference. We will constantly keep an eye on our franchisees’ to make sure their stores are doing well and where necessary we will advise them accordingly.”
