Umhlanga Tourism chairperson Jeannie Sarno said the location is pristine and easily accessible to visitors and members which is why it was ideal.

“For many years, the Umhlanga Tourism offices were ‘hidden’ from the public, but this is the past, and we’re happy to finally have a new home. When word got out that we were on a hunt for a new office location, The Pearls Mall
organised a meeting and, with no hesitation, offered a space to us. We are thankful for their support,”
she said.

The office is situated on Level 3, just around the corner from Dischem and near the Village Table.

“As a team, comprised mainly of volunteers, we do everything in our power to ensure that the Umhlanga Precinct is in the public eye.

“This is from the uMngeni River all the way north to the Tongaat River,” she said.

Sarno encouraged non-members to join Umhlanga Tourism and reap the benefits of being a member.
