Go red and donate blood at uMhlanga mall

The campaign aims to collect 5 000 units of blood on the day.

ALL roads lead to Gateway Theatre of Shopping this Saturday for the South African National Blood Service’s (SANBS) Red Saturday.

Red Saturday forms part of the organisation’s Summer Campaign which aims to raise awareness about the importance of regular blood donations.

“We also want to encourage first-time donors to make donation a lifelong practice. We’d like to see new donors come to Gateway and make a donation. If you have any questions about donating, we will help with that, too. One donation can save up to three lives. We would like to collect 5 000 units on the day,” said SANBS head of marketing Neelashen Govender.

The donor clinic is open from 09:00 to 16:00 and is situated above Game, near Flight Centre.
