Repairs to Kings Park Swimming Pool on track
The City has revealed that the total cost of the upgrade, rehabilitation, and refurbishment of Kings Park Swimming Pool is R86m.
THE eThekwini Municipality has provided an update on the upgrades and repairs of the Olympic-size Kings Park Swimming Pool.
The municipal-run pool was closed in 2024 after it sustained severe damage during heavy storms.
Last year the City said the upgrade and repairs would be completed by July 2026, however, it is unclear if that deadline will be met.
On Wednesday this week the City announced that the total cost of the upgrade, rehabilitation, and refurbishment of the facility is R86m.
