Sharks mourn the passing of Bok legend, James Small

The Sharks said Small was a special character and a true warrior on the field of play.

THE Cell C Sharks has joined the rest of the South African rugby fraternity in mourning the sudden loss of Springboks stalwart, James Small.

The 50 died of a sudden heart attack with his passing sending shockwaves through the world of rugby today

In a post on their Instagram account, The Sharks said Small was a special character and a true warrior on the field of play.

Small represented both the Sharks and Springboks with distinction.

Gary Teichmann, Sharks CEO said he was fortunate to have played with and known James.

“James was a great team man and friend. I will always cherish the memories we shared both on and off the field. Our sincere condolences are extended to his children and the entire Small family on their sad loss,” he said.
