ISKCON Estcourt celebrated Lord Nityananda’s appearance day on Wednesday last week.
Devotees gathered at the Maha Gayathri temple where a service was held and a street procession followed.
Lord Nityananda appeared on Earth about 500 years ago, primarily to deliver the fallen souls by inducing them to chant the holy name of God.
The Lord is famous for being merciful, benevolent, magnanimous and kind towards all living entities.
He does not discriminate between the pious, impious, rich and poor, black or white, male or female, animal or human.
