Industrial area gets an upgrade

The garden, situated at the entrance to the Industrial Park, is also part of beautifying the town and ensuring that it becomes more 'green'.

Big things are in store for the small town of Dannhauser, and B Ramgoolam & Associates are one third of the driving force behind it.
Together with the municipality and COGTA, who have provided funds, the company is currently busy with upgrades to the Industrial Park in Dannhauser.
Situated at the entrance to the town, the revamping of the Industrial Park is hoped to attract more investors and boost he little town. Phase one work has already been completed. The road leading into the area has been tarred, walkways have been constructed and streetlights have been put up.
Dannhauser are the only town in Northern KZN to have LED streetlights, another first for the town.
The garden, situated at the entrance to the Industrial Park, is also part of beautifying the town and ensuring that it becomes more ‘green’. The design for the garden was the brainchild of Mauritz Heine, Quantity Surveyor at B Ramgoolam & Associates.
Ahmed Aziz, Head of Technical Services at B Ramgoolam & Associates urged residents to be positive about the changes and support the development coming to town. Ahmed emphasised that more industry would create a big boost for the town, which would also boost the income. He added that if local government sees the town expanding they will pump more money into it, resulting in more development.
Managing Director Peter Ramgoolam added how proud he was that the work on the Industrial Park was awarded to locals. Mr Ramgoolam said that the projects were creating job opportunities for locals and also helping to alleviate poverty. Recently officials from the municipality and members of COGTA and the Treasury Department visited the site and highlighted the plans going forward for the area. There are definitely many changes coming to the town, and with B Ramgoolam & Associates implementing many of the changes, Dannhauser won’t be seen as a ‘small’ town anymore.
