Wild dogs attack livestock
The SPCA has been there to try and catch the "wild dog", but was unsuccessful.
A pack of wild dogs is causing havoc in the Craigieburn area where livestock have been attacked.
Residents said this has been going on for about four months.
It started out with two dogs, of which one is supposed to be domesticated, because the owner lives up the road. I don’t know where the other dog came from, but we suspect it might be from the Mpati side of Dundee,” one resident told the Courier.
“From two weeks ago the pack has gone up to three. Although that doesn’t sound harmful, they are actually attacking herds of livestock. On occasion we have seen five to six dogs together. “
They usually cross the stream in Craigieburn in the early mornings or late afternoons and then they cause problems throughout the evening.

It seems that the whole of Craigieburn is affected by this, because a lot of people have phoned to get rid of these dogs, the Courier was told.
