Could Linda take the victory?

The purpose of the competition was to motivate young women to become involved in their communities and develop leadership skills.

Linda Gladile has come one step closer to her dream of being a well-known face.

Linda entered South Africa’s Ultimate Brand Ambassador competition earlier this year and has been selected as one of eight finalists.

The purpose of the competition was to motivate young women to become involved in their communities and develop leadership skills.

As a child Linda wanted to become a model but she never dreamed that she would be on television, competing in a nationwide competition.

The South Africa’s Ultimate Brand Ambassador show is aired every Wednesday on DSTV Channel 251 at 5.30pm.

“It is amazing to be one of the top eight,” she enthused.

To qualify as a finalist, participants were expected to take part in various challenges, which involved preparing business expos, social events and charity fund-raisers.

“Through this experience I have learned to fight for what I want and have come to learn more about how important it was to give back to my community,” Linda said.

As the competition draws to a close, Linda was expected to host a fund-raising event within her community.

“I will be hosting a sports and entertainment event on November 1 at Arbor Park Sports Grounds and Ikhaya Lounge,” she said.

Inviting all businesses and residents to participate in the event, Linda said all funds raised would go towards Children are our Future orphanage.
