They’ve got that Christmas feeling

ANOTHER year has come and almost gone and Christmas cheer is in the air.

Pompino Day Care Centre was no exception as, on Friday, December 12, parents and children gathered for the annual Christmas party, which included a musical performance by the children, led by Lizaan Botha and Kayla High, as well as a surprise visit from Father Christmas, who arrived shortly after the performance to hand out gifts to the children.

Four children from the day care centre were awarded certificates and will be starting their school careers from Grade RR next year.

After the excitement, parents were invited to braai and socialise before the evening came to an end and the children said goodbye to ‘Tannie San’ and ‘Oom Jan’ as well as ‘Tannie Lizaan’ until next year. Jan and Susanna Labuschagne, also known as ‘Oom Jan’ and ‘Tannie San’ run Pompino Day Care Centre with the assistance of Lizaan Botha.
