ANC denies ‘Biyela-comeback’ comment
"What I know is that Mr Biyela's case is still ongoing," said Mr Linda Ngubane, newly elected ANC Bhambatha Regional chairperson.

Linda Ngubane is the new chairperson of the ANC’s Bambatha region. He was voted in to replace Umzinyathi Mayor, Rev James Mthethwa.
The ANC’s regional conference was held in the McKenzie Street in late December.
Endumeni Mayor, Thulani Mahaye, was elected deputy chairperson (who won the vote over Speaker, Sduduzo Mdluli) while Bheki Lembede is the new secretary.
Fikile Khumalo was elected as Treasurer. She is also a former member of National Parliament.
A Zulu language newspaper in KZN reported recently that there ‘will be many changes in Endumeni with the re-instatement’ of still-suspended municipal manager, Thabani Biyela.
In an interview shortly after his election as regional chairpeson, Mr Ngubane, said he had no knowledge of this.
He also said that he never told the newspaper that Mr Biyela would return to his post anytime soon.
“What I know is that Mr Biyela’s case is still ongoing,” he concluded.
