Terrible roads in Ladysmith?

Massive potholes are dotted along Marula Drive in Smartiesville

People are saying that the state of the roads all over town is terrible and something needs to be done about it.

“Where is our taxpayers’ money going? Not only do we pay our rates, our vehicles get damaged on these roads and we have to fork out for that as well!” said one upset Ladysmith resident.

In many areas, there are huge potholes that don’t get fixed and tar that has been churned up by heavy vehicles.  “This is dangerous, especially at night, and looks terrible,” added the resident.

Massive potholes are dotted along Marula Drive in Smartiesville, highlighted by an article in the Times of Ladysmith.

Only problem areas include Shepstone Road, Battery Road and a few others, with potholes all over the place and generally bad road conditions. “I really believe the municipality is not bothered with fixing these roads. They’re in their fancy cars, using other roads, but underprivileged people like us have no choice but to use these routes and pay the price!”
