Trucks keep rolling in
Although truck drivers face the possibility of being fined for parking in areas such as the vacant plot of land at the intersection of Hardwick and Murchison streets, they persist in doing so.
Although truck drivers face the possibility of being fined for parking in areas such as the vacant plot of land at the intersection of Hardwick and Murchison streets, they persist in doing so.
Concerned residents on Pendoring Street, Arbor Park, claimed that truck drivers also regularly park in the area.
“It has been ongoing on for about a year, and at first, many of us thought it was a once off thing,” said a resident.
However, it would appear he and others were gravely mistaken.
“It seems they now have a pit stop,” he claimed.
Truck drivers have also allegedly done repairs to their vehicles, often leaving behind items as big as tyres.
“One truck driver even dumped some of his load here. I am not sure what it is, but it resembles waste from coal,” fumed a resident.
The municipality’s communication department was unable to comment at the time of going to print.
