Public halls undergo refurbishment

Leaks, broken windows and out of order toilets are all things of the past

After a recent visit to any of the public halls in Estcourt, you may have figured out that they are undergoing a major clean-up.

Leaks, broken windows and out of order toilets are all things of the past. Recently, a number of structures and facilities have been renewed or replaced at the halls.

The Forderville Hall had new counters installed in the kitchen, a bar fridge and a small stove. You can expect to see the town hall draped with new curtains as a request for this has been made.

Leaks in the roof of the Papkuilsfontein Community Hall have been repaired. All the halls will see hygienic automatic hand drying facilities as well as soap dispensers.

The ladies bathroom will have the sinks replaced, and both the men’s and ladies bathrooms will have the toilet seats and covers renewed at the Forderville Hall.

The doors, shelves and windows are to be revamped at the town hall. The renovations are expected to be complete during the coming months.
