According to police spokesperson Captain Charmaine Struwig, the case of the man who was arrested for the alleged rape of a dog and other animals is still waiting for witnesses to come forward.
The alleged incident involving the dog took place in the Somshoek area of Ekuvukeni on December 16 last year.
The matter was initially not enrolled at court since they were looking for witnesses to come forward.
The Ladysmith Family Violence, Child Protection & Sexual Offences (FCS) Unit is still faced with difficulties in locating witnesses to confirm / back up the allegations made.
