Combi driver wanted by police for culpable homicide

The victim sustained head injuries and bruising to both his legs, and was transported to Madadeni Provincial Hospital for further treatment, but succumbed to his injuries shortly after.

MADADENI – Police are searching for the driver of a white Toyota minibus who is allegedly linked to culpable homicide, which occurred at the Asiphephe Bridge near Madadeni on September 8.

According to police reports, a 56-year-old man was walking alongside the bridge at around 7.30pm, when he was run over by the minibus.

The driver fled the scene.

The victim sustained head injuries and bruising to both his legs, and was transported to Madadeni Provincial Hospital for further treatment, but succumbed to his injuries shortly after.

The driver of the vehicle is still unknown at this stage.
