
On Sunday (October 30), Ladysmith K9 officers received information that two men were walking along Centenary Road with hunting dogs. The men were in possession of a dead buck.
The officers responded and arrested the men, aged 35 and 52.
The two suspects appeared in the Ladysmith Magistrate’s Court on Monday, answering to a charge of hunting wild animals without a permit.
Both accused have been remanded into police custody and will appear again in court on Tuesday, November 8.
