Blind pedestrian hit by car after being robbed
The person he was allegedly with took all his belongings, including his cane, and left him helpless
A pedestrian was knocked down last night (November 3) in Kandahar Avenue just after the Natalasia car wash.
It is believed that the accident victim is blind and was robbed before being hit by the car.
The person he was allegedly with took all his belongings, including his cane, and left him helpless. Disorientated, the blind man walked until he was hit by a car.
EMRS, Sharaj Ambulance Services and ER24 responded. The injured pedestrian was treated at the scene for moderate injuries and then transported to hospital by EMRS.
Public Safety, towing services and police were also on scene.
