Public Safety and RTI impound cattle

It took the officers close to an hour, but they were able to get the roaming livestock onto a truck

Public Safety and RTI worked together yesterday morning (November 8) and impounded six cattle.

The cattle were wandering on the R103 just past the Windsor Dam turn-off.

It took the officers close to an hour, but they were able to get the roaming livestock onto a truck.

The officers said it was better to have the animals safely locked up than to have them causing accidents.
